APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN

POSITION SUMMARY

The Electrician Apprentice supports the installation, modification, and maintenance of electrical systems while progressing through a structured training path toward journeyman certification. This role is responsible for executing assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and to code under supervision, while actively developing technical competency and professional discipline.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver’s license (preferred for field roles)

• Ability to pass background check (if required)

• Physical capability:

• Lift 50–75 lbs

• Climb ladders

• Work in various environments

Preferred

• Enrollment in apprenticeship program

• Prior construction or electrical experience

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems
